Using Dark Purple in combination with a Sandy Yellow, and Mint Green for an upcoming design tutorial. As much as Blue is my personal favourite, I just wanted to break from the norm, and take my colour choices down a more Vintage feel. When you can get those vintage colour combinations right you can bring a lot of warmth and playfulness to a site/app.

As popular as Blue is, you will find a high percentage of designs having a very cold and clinical feel to them (not counting something like a Baby Blue).

Purple is the new Blue right Henrik? ;)
